The DAO1 International Blockchain Hackathon will be held from June 18, 2021 till July, 2, 2021, enabling participants to showcase their innovative projects and get a chance to be incubated and launched.

The upcoming DAO1 International Hackathon will be held in two stages. Registrations for the first round is now open till June 18, 2021 at hackathon.dao1.org.

How to Participate

• Visit hackathon.dao1.org and click on the “Register” or “Sign up now” buttons to sign up and fill the accompanying form to register for the DAO1 International Blockchain Hackathon.
• Please provide brief details about your team and the innovative idea that you wish to turn into a reality.
• Once the application is received, a jury of seasoned blockchain developers and industry experts with interact with the applicants to evaluate the submitted idea as part of Stage-1 of DAO1 International Hackathon on June 18 to June 20, 2021.
• Based on the evaluation, a shortlist of participants graduating to Stage-2 of the hackathon will be announced on June 20, 2021.

The announcement of shortlist marks the beginning of preparation for Stage-2 of the hackathon. Shortlisted participants can continue working on their idea to create a Proof-of-Concept and put together the necessary documentations and presentations for submission.

• The last date for submission of entries for the Stage-2 of DAO1 International Hackathon is June 29, 2021.
• The jury, as a part of the evaluation of submissions will allot 30-minute sessions to each team to give a short demo of the project and answer few questions.
• Following the evaluation of submissions by DAO1 Hackathon’s panel of judges, the entries will be voted upon by the DAO1 community.
• Based on the jury as well as the community’s decision, DAO1 will announce the winners of its first ever International Blockchain Hackathon.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the DAO1 International Blockchain Hackathon, the participants should hold at least 1 DAO1 Token, which is available for purchase on major DEXs like Uniswap, QuickSwap and SafeSwap, in addition to centralized exchanges like BarterTrade, Bilaxy and more. The hackathon is not accepting entries from already established blockchain projects. Only fresh ideas and new projects can apply for the event. Holding 1 DAO1 Token is a symbolic thing, to be with the skin in the game, every founder and entrepreneur registering for the hackathon should first learn about DAO1 ecosystem and owning at least one token is part of the learning process. The main trading pair on the exchanges is DAO1/USDT.

Registrations for DAO1 International Blockchain Hackathon will Close on June 18, 2021

The shortlisted candidates for Stage-2 of DAO1 International hackathon will be announced on or before June 20, 2021. It will be followed by the pre-hackathon preparation for Stage-2 which includes the development of Proof of Concept, Presentation of the Idea and final submission before June 29.

During the pre-hackathon period, the shortlisted candidates will be mentored by DAO1 core team and invited experts, preparing them to face the rigorous hackathon competition and its challenges.

When the competition starts, the shortlisted candidates will have been prepared by some of the best in industry, which will be totally free as part of DAO1's contribution to the growth of the industry.

The three-day long Stage-2 of the Hackathon will start from June 30, 2021 and conclude on July 2, 2021 with exciting sessions from some of the top minds in the crypto industry, followed by announcement of winners based on the jury evaluation and community voting.

Winners of the DAO1 International Hackathon will receive prizes from the 25000 USDT prize pool along with a guaranteed position in the upcoming DAO1 Incubation program where they can fulfil the transformation of their idea into a full-blown product.
